Tooth Dental is so excited to welcome back the wonderful Dr Jana Currall! Dr Jana returned in January 2022 after four years living in Perth and Sydney with her family. Dr Jana knew she wanted to be a dentist at a very young age. In fact, her fascination with her own lost baby teeth was so strong that not even the tooth fairy could prise them from her.
Fast-forward to 2008 and the passion was stronger than ever. Dr Jana graduated from the University of Queensland with first class honours while taking out the Professor RR Stevens Restorative Dentistry Award, marking the start of a lifelong dream that took her to Townsville, Darwin, Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, before spending 18 months providing special needs dentistry to those with more complex medical histories at Fiona Stanley Hospital in Perth.
Dr Jana has made a name for treating kids and adults alike, with a particular interest in crowns, bridges and veneers. Patients adore her down-to-earth nature and knack for explaining dentistry in everyday language that hides her advanced knowledge, sharpened through attending regular dental courses and conferences, reading journal articles and bouncing ideas off peers. With her exceptional attention to detail and treatment planning, Dr Jana offers state-of-the-art, evidence based dental artistry.
